The KA-BAR Foliage Green Hard Plastic Sheath features two ways to keep the blade secure. A friction guard lock holds the blade inside the sheath, and a nylon retaining strap snaps around the handle for extra security. The sheath is also salt water resistant, so the blade will not cut through if the sheath is submerged in salt water. The KA-BAR hard plastic sheath has several grommets and slots for tie-downs, and allows for a variety of carrying options.
